Frequently asked questions

Business financing.
Clearly explained.

Understand the process, costs and conditions before you decide.

What is factoring?

Factoring is financing against your business’s receivables. You assign an eligible invoice receivable to a finance provider, which pays an agreed advance. Once the customer pays, the remaining balance and fees are settled.

Which invoices can be financed?

Factoring generally applies to completed, documented B2B transactions with invoices that are not yet overdue. Eligibility depends on an assessment of your company, customer, invoice and underlying transaction.

How much does factoring cost?

Fees may depend on the invoice value, financing period, customer risk and contractual terms. Your individual offer should explain the total expected cost, the amount you receive and the settlement process.

When will I receive the funds?

For existing contracted customers, disbursement may take place within 24 hours once the documents, checks and all funding conditions are satisfied. Initial assessment and contracting require additional time.

Will my customer be informed?

The customer may need to be notified of the assignment and payment instructions, and asked to confirm the receivable. Your offer and contract explain the exact process.

What if my customer pays late or fails to pay?

Late-payment costs and repayment obligations depend on the agreement. Factoring does not automatically transfer all customer default risk. Discuss recourse rights and any insurance conditions before signing.
